On Thursday, January 25, 2024, those active in the mini-town could almost feel the rush of the various training and fighter planes of the times in the meeting room, when TAJ – Tage Johannesen talked about his eventful and versatile life in the Air Force.

For many years, Tage has been part of the pilots who always have constituted the squadrons that have looked after us all.

He has also been deployed to Texas in The United States – not only during his own apprenticeship but has on several occasions been responsible for the training of today's pilots.

He has been leader of the flying school in Karup, where he also ended his long career in the Air Force

Tage spoke vividly with lots of gestures so that you could closely follow the movements of the plane. he still follows the life and training of current and future pilots, and in the family, there are two sons-in-law who have followed the same trajectory as Tage, one flies the F-35, and the other is a test pilot on various helicopters.

It was a fun and informative morning. Big thanks to TAJ.
