Horsens Penitentiary and Crome & Goldschmidt

Located in Adelgade/Akseltorv - Matr. 231. Matr. 231.

Crome & Goldschmidt had several of the products they sold produced in Horsens Penitentiary. These included weaving goods.

In the new building from the late 1800s, C & G furnished itself alone on the ground floor 1800-tallet indrettede C & G sig alene i stueetagen,

It was also in this building that Kolding Avis saw the light of day in 1849. It was Kolding's first daily newspaper.

Between 1907 and 1916, electrical installer Gustav Molin ran the city's first cinema on the first floor.
