Sct. Nicolaj Church

The church dates from the 1200s. In 1885 to 1886, a whitewashed "village church" was remodeled.

Sct. Nicolai Church was called Kolding Church until 1925, when Christ Church in the southern part of town was built. The church then changed its name and was named after its guardian angel.

This conversion resulted in the church being scaled with red monk bricks, given a taller tower, and provided with a spire.
At the same time, the choir was replaced with one that fit the nave.

The memorial in the northern side chapel is in memory of the fallen soldiers in 1849.

A faithful copy of St. Nicolai Church's carillon and hourly beats often sounds from the miniature town's church tower. When there are weddings, the bridal march is heard from the church organ.
